Little Rascals Day Nursery is located at the rear of St Nicholas Church where we have two rooms strictly for nursery use only, during nursery hours.

Welcome to the Owl's room, in this room we start preparing the children for school.
The environment is carefully created to offer learning opportunities and support all areas of your child's indivdual development and needs.
We promote independence, to achieve this we use encouragement and role modelling.
Our qualifed and experienced staff provide creative, fun and stimulating activities, creating opportunities for chidren to explore and investigate in a safe enviroment, including sand, water, unlimited access to craft resources, cosy area, role play, free choice of toys accessible to children, sensory play and much more.
We have dedicated time to suit the needs of the children and their age, during this time activities / group time will be adapted to suit the ages of the children to ensure they have all the resources needed and ensure they are ready and willing to further their development.
Toileting facilities are attachted to the play room where we promote health and self care, nappy changes and can start introducing toilet trainning.
We also have a separate room for childern to sleep/rest as and when required.
Welcome to the Robin's room, in this room we use bright and colourful colours to stimulate senses and create an friendly cosy atmopshere.
Our staff ensure that the children feel safe and secure by following their individual routine set by you and displaying calm and friendly behaviours.
We have a range of resources to enhance your child's learning and development in all areas.
Unlimited access to the garden areas and nature.
We take advantage of being a small nursery and go out for walks, to the local parks and partake in commuinity activities.
We love messy / sensory play. Spending time stimulating babies senses helps them develop cognitively, linguistically, socially and emotionally, physically and creatively.
We do have a potty if required and this will stay in the nappy changing area.
