At Little Rascals Day Nursey we believe that ‘Children are the future’. Early experiences the children are exposed to have a huge impact how children develop thoughout childhood and into adulthood to support this we aim:

Our values and ethos of Little Rascals Day Nursery requires staff, children and parents, to come together to support each individual child in all aspects of early life. We believe children are unique and deserve opportunities, security and quality care. We encourage positive behaviour, using our staff to role model and promote positive behaviour within the nursery. Our environment supports ‘learning through play’, where children are encouraged to take part in adult led and child initiated activities. Children freeflow within the nursery enabling them to develop their confidence and independence.

We respect that parents are their children’s first educators and we hugely value our strong partnership with parents. Parents and carers are welcome to participate at the nursery and we actively encourage an open and respectful relationship between practitioners and our children’s families.

We greatly value the huge impact that active learning has on children’s development and the importance of outdoor play. Our daily practice focuses on your childrens interests and carfully incorporating this into our planning supporting their indvidual learning and development.
